Is the Dr Zhivago 2 Disc edition DVD OOP?

The only place I could find it was Amazon.

It does now show up in the best buy or circuit city search editions.

is the version OOP worth buying and is the picture and sound quality flawless?

Is there a plan to rerelease it?

a) Try DVD Empire, DDD, Best Buy, etc... Search for "doctor" not "dr".

b) Pic and sound Q are excellent... That said, I dunno if I would call any DVD transfer "flawless". It's a nice two disc set, excellent film.

c) it's not OOP, so no plans that I know of.

For some reason most (online) stores that I checked do not have it in stock. However, haven't heard any news of it going out of print. It is definitely worth owning if you can find a copy. The current DVD video transfer is excellent, sound isn't bad for a 40 year old film, and there are plenty of extras.

The OP was asking a question if it was OOP.

thanks johnny. I should have typed Doctor instead of Dr.

Still I found 6 bay area best buy locations according to the website and none of them have it in stock.

I noticed today at Buy.com that Doctor Zhivago is listed as a pre-order with a release date of 4/5.
