Concerts & Music Videos On DVD...

So what are your "favorite" concerts already out on dvd?

What concert movie would you like to see released soon?

List your music dvds here and I'll try to make some kind of 'master' list...

Are we talking concerts or music videos, since both are on the list?

I've been saying that people really need to get to releasing video collections more!

One missing from your list that I have yet to get on DVD but love the video is Oingo Boingo's "Farewell" concert.

My favorites:
Rush in Rio
Slayer - War at the Warfield
Slayer - Still Reigning
Megadeth - Rude Awakening

Second nod to GGD - Live in Buffalo. Also, although it's not a 'concert' per se, their Music in High Places DVD is great.

Nine Inch Nails - And All That Could Have Been
Superjoint Ritual - Live in Dallas, Texas 2002 (not sure if this counts, its live footage mixed with interviews)

I'd love to see Woodstock re-released, the current is a flipper , I would also like to see Woodstock 94 moved to dvd (although I have the vhs, so one day I will convert this along with other unreplaceable vhs like the 99 ppv)

Beaten to the punch. By far the best live DVD I've seen yet. It really does a great job of giving you the fan's perspective. Reminds me of actually attending the shows back in '00.

I only own three dvd's of concert performances, by far my favorite of the three is Bjork: Live at Cambridge (completely kick ass concert!)

The other two I own are Joss Stone from Irving Plaza in NYC and Neil Diamond's greatest hits live (not sure where he's playing at).

Shagrath, is the Manson dvd that good? I was considering it but would like a fan's opinion

Justbarleymovin,
I also love this set and can't wait to see them this year (my favorite band), but the fact that i have to switch discs in the middle of it has always bothered me. Are there any other hidden features than the extra menu on disc 2 and the alternate angle on gave up (disc 1)?

that reminds me Nine Inch Nails - Closure should be coming to dvd at some point, apparently there are some rights issues with this

I don't think there are any other Easter Eggs, but I do believe that dvd.ign did a little bit on how to find all the hidden features a long time ago, right around when the DVD was released.

It does kind of suck having to switch discs, but I know they just didn't want to have to compress the hell out of everything. I've heard Trent's pretty anal about top-notch quality (which, hey, isn't such a bad thing).

I think the only thing that was keeping Closure from being released is that Trent & co. didn't want to have some unrelated company release it; they wanted to put it out themselves like they did for AATCHB. I'm looking forward to it. My VHS tapes are getting pretty dusty.

I really like The Pixies DVD (which includes both concert footage as well as their videos)
White Stripes Under Blackpool lights is pretty good as well.

I would love it if they put out MTV's Nirvana Unplugged concert.

I had Cyndi In Paris on Laserdisc years ago..loved the concert but the quality wasn't anything to brag about. It would be great to see a re-release on Dvd with improved video/audio and some extra features.
