WB prepares the first season of ThunderCATS.

With the announcement of Batman: The Animated Series V.3 and Superfriends: Season 2, WB has included the following:

Trailered On: Batman: The Animated Series Vol. 3; Thundercats: Season One, Volume One (3-Pack)


What that means is that a trailer for Batman V3 and Superfriends S2 will be included in the release Thundercats DVD release. Besides that, there are no further details, but at least you know that a DVD is coming. Stay tOOned for further details...
Holy crap, didn't anyone actually expect ThunderCATs to geta release?!?

Thanks for posting about Thundercats S1 eventual release but I think the title is a bit misleading. When clicking on the thread, I though a date was already announced.

I know Thundercats is a long sought after title for a lot of folks, but hold the phone for a second... Will this show hold up after all these years? I mean it was one of those classic '80s toons like GI Joe and Transformers. I'm not sure if the animation will still appeal to everybody now as adults.

Thundercats hold up alot better than most of the 80's cartoons. A few years ago Cartoon Network reran it and Voltron. At the time I was looking forward to Voltron more but Thundercats was alot more enjoyable.

yeah, i liked the anime look of the series (the animation was drawn by japanese studios), even back then. i'm sure it'll still hold up well.
