*****help Me Please!! *****

Please can anyone help? I currently have a HP Pavillion media centre which includes software from InterVideo. ( Win DVD creator)

I am wanting to convert VCR to dvd via my pc, and I have been partially successful so far. On using WinDVD I am able to play the video cassette tape and view this on my pc using an S-video cable, however there is NO SOUND at all. This is the same when hooking up my JVC videocamera to my pc in the same way.

I contacted Hp for there advise and they referred me to www.Pcstats.com, which has been helpful, but im still lost with regards to the audio cables.

Can anyone give me a full guide to what cable to use? So far I have tried using the cables which are RED, WHITE and YELLOW but have not been successful.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

s-video cables are video only.

You will need to run audio cables from your VCR audio out to the line in on your sound card in your PC
