Hastings - MST3K Volume 6

FWIW, Hastings has the MST3K - Volume 6 mispriced at $14.99. Every copy has been marked at this price in every location (6 across Texas, over the past few months or so) that I've been to. So, if there's a Hastings near you, and they've got this in stock, you can find yourself a pretty good deal. It's been at this price for ages, so I don't see them catching it any time soon.

This is an in-store only slip-up, apparently. I just checked www.gohastings.com, and they've got it listed at $47 and change.

That is an incredible deal, of monolithic proportions!

I, unfortunately, do not have a Hastings where I live. But, that's one damn sweet deal.

(Sigh) Wish there were a Hastings nearby (never even heard of the chain). Dearly love MST, especially at bargain prices.

I adore Hastings. They have a ridiculously large selection (including a ton of in-stock Criterion titles), and on top of that, they dabble in used product...and as you well know, used Criterion is like gold to us DVD-collecting bargain searchers.

Not to mention, they used to have a 4 for 1 offer that was God's gift to my collection. Trade any 4 DVD's (and I mean ANY four, including Wal-Mart's $1 releases of The Swap and The Scarlet Letter) for any 1 DVD release, priced at $29.99 or less. I cleared all of the junk out of my collection, cleaned out my local Pawn Shop's $1-2 bargain bin, picked up a handful of Wal-Mart $1 discs...and loaded my collection with Criterion titles and boxed sets.

They caught on eventually and upped the price in their system for what discs they'd accept, but while it lasted, I was in heaven.

I frequent 2 Hastings on a weekly basis, yet have no idea what MST3K Volume 6 stands for. Maybe I'm just out of it. If someone could tell me what I should be looking for, I'll see if I can get any for the people needing them in this thread.

It stands for Mystery Science Theater 3000. It's a show that used to air on Comedy Central.

Hey when you go, keep me in mind, if you can. Thanks.

That makes sense. I'll check Hastings tomorrow when I'm out for DVDs.

Good news I found two copies today. If any one wants a copy let me know. They were $16.23 with tax. I am not sure what the shipping cost would be but i would Imagine it would be less than $20.00 shipped or I would consider trading for used tv sets that are about the same.

I tried emailing you, but you've blocked incoming emails, it appears.

EDIT: I tried again, and I think I was successful in emailing you this time.

Just an update: My local Hastings had zero Volume Six boxsets, just the other volumes, all priced much higher than the $14.99 that people reported for Six.

Sorry guys, glad someone was able to help people out here, though.

If anyone is interested I also saw the Ed Wood Jr. (6 disc I believe) box set for 14.99 and the limited to 5000 box set of Akira Kurosawa that was available on amazon a few years back for 49.99.

The Ed Wood set for $15? Nice, I've gotta go check that out. Thanks.
Haven't been yet to see if there are any MST3K sets left. I'll update when I do.
