The coupon is also good at Waldenbooks or Brentano's.

Not to thread crap, but 15% off their regularly priced DVDs is not getting my butt in their store.

Then what's the point of your post?

I'm fairly certain nobody cares that it's not enough to get you to go.

Back on topic, thanks for the heads up, OP.

I'm simply making a comment that most regularly priced DVD's there are overpriced to begin with.

And a reminder that the Buy 3 Get 1 Free (the coupon can be used together) ends on Sunday 2/27.

Thanks, just used the 10% off coupon and the Buy 3 Get 1 Free deal to get 4 DVDs for $35 plus tax ($43.56 @ DDD):
  • Hi, Mom
  • Re-Animator 2-disc
  • High School Confidential
  • L'Auberge Espagnole
I did have some trouble at checkout, though. When the cashier (who also happened to be the manager) saw the coupon, he emphatically said, "You can get the Buy 3 Get 1 Free deal, or the 10% off, but not both."

Me: "But it says right on the coupon, 'Discount combines with all sale pricing and promotions.' "
Him: "Well, I don't think that's true."
Me: "How can it 'not be true' when it says that?"
Him: "Well, let's see if it rings up that way."

Of course, it did ring up properly. So he says, "Wow, that's the first time I've seen that happen in my 2 1/2 years here." Hmmmm...

Anyway, it's still a great deal, thanks!

seymouru,

Exact same thing happened with me, and the cashier was very surprised the coupon applied saying I got "a really good deal!"
