Armageddon CC isn't out of print or anything, so I doubt anyone would bother to bootleg it. You can get it brand new online for about $30. Also, the Fight Club 2-Disc is back in print, so it isn't hard to find either.

Why would there be bootlegs? It's still in print and readily available. You can buy it brand new from DVD Planet for $25.99.

Get it at DVDPlant for $25.99 if you want it in that range, don't know why there would be boots of Armageddon, but just get it from a retailer if you want to be safe.

Back when I worked for CH, we had some guy buying shitloads of copies of this movie. He did it legitimately: started an account, fulfilled the obligation, and did it all over again...but most of the movies he bought to do this were the copies of Armageddon CC. I don't know what the policies are nowadays, but then you were only supposed to be allowed two or maybe three copies of any certain title. They eventually looked back on his purchasing and account history and ended up cancelling him for possible fraudulent activity. I wouldn't be surprised if this is either that guy or those same copies floating around still.

It's really going for about 10-15 bones on eBay.

I just really wish they would release an anamorphic version.

That's the one and only reason why I haven't bought this movie. I, unlike many folks, actually like the film for its good campy fun and different take on the asteroid threat. Some of the shuttle flight sequences are truely amazing.

Same here. There's a handful of us who do enjoy it for what it is. I wish that it were anamorphic too, but getting it for free back in-the-day was worth it. The blooper reel is pretty funny.

Used ones are,but i would think he is talking about a new/sealed copy,in which case they go for around $23+.

The blooper reel from this disk is still my favorite out of all the movies I own.

I think there are two packaging variations of Armageddon CC. Initially it is in double Alpha case (twice as thick as regular DVD) and later in slim double Amaray.

IM surprised they havent done a SE of Armageddon yet, or at least re-release it barebones anamorphic. As big of a film it was, they know htey would sell a good amount of copies.

But they release a new version of Gone in 60 Seconds and Coyote Ugly, two Bruckheimer classics right there. That's not to say Armageddon is any better, but it made a lot more $$$ and would sell more.
