Further Details
Our friends at Bloody-Disgusting have posted details on Blade: Trinity which stars Wesley Snipes, Kris Kristofferson, Jessica Biel, Ryan Reynolds, Parker Posey and Dominic Purcell. The film will be available to own in double-disc rated and unrated editions from the 26th April, priced at around $29.95 a piece. The unrated edition will carry an extended cut of the film with an extra ten minutes of footage, presented in anamorphic widescreen along with both Dolby Digital 5.1 and DTS 6.1 Surround tracks. The extras will include two commentaries with writer/director David Goyer, Jessica Biel, Ryan Reynolds, producer and crew, a 16-part behind-the-scenes documentary, an alternate ending, a blooper reel, a Goyer on Goyer: The Writer Interviews the Director featurette, the VFX Progression and Weapons galleries and the films theatrical trailer. The rated disc will also carry these features (with the exception of the commentary) but will also feature a full screen transfer too along with just the 5.1 and Stereo Surround tracks. Topping everything off will be a collectible, limited edition Marvel comic book.

Nice to see another 6.1 track. The ES track on Blade II was fantastic!

Sounds like a fantastic DVD, but I don't think I'll buy it, I just didn't like it enough to warrant a purchase.

I'm hoping for a boxset of all three movies. That would be really cool.

Despite the not so great reviews, I'm getting it just to complete the collection. I have some custom art that has a 3-part spine image of Blade, so gotta get this one to complete the picture.

I really liked this movie eventhough it felt more like "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" than "Blade." This is a definate buy...

The question is... does the Trilogy box come with the 2 disc or 1 disc Blade 2?

Im thinking of gettting the Trilogy regardless, give Blade 2 to my mom, sell #1 since its the old snapper and then Ill have all 3 + the box. Hmmm need pricing though.

Yep, I felt Blade was pretty much a supporting character in this one. The movies got progressively worse, but I'll still pick this one up as it was still decent.

yes. the cover is the same as the 2-disc except the picture of wesley snipes is from the waist up instead of his whole body.

I've held off getting any of the Blade releases just for a trilogy set (Never did get to see III in theaters and despite mixed reactions, I still wanna own it) but what's got me biting my nails now is if Blade II is gonna be the original 2-Disc and that Blade III will be unrated.

I have been holding out on buying any of the Blade movies thinking there would be a boxset. Excited to see that there will be one. From the cover art of the boxset (on the spine), it looks like the 2-Disc Blade 2 and the Unrated Blade Trinity. If that is correct, then this boxset is a must buy for me.
