McDonald's will reportedly offer free Chicken Selects 2/17-2/20 between 11 AM - 2 PM. Props to Scorch of cheapassgamer.com. This is unconfirmed and may only be in select markets. Guess I picked the wrong week to start my diet.

I saw an ad on yahoo.com. It says one chicken selects strip and one sauce per person per visit.

There is an ad for it on the main page of Yahoo!. The fine print says:

One Chicken Selects Strip and one sauce per person pers visit. in store only. At Participating McDonald's. While Supplies last.

Sauces are : Spicy Buffalo, Creamy Ranch, and Tangy Honey Mustard

1 strip is better than the samples given out when they first came out. My local McDs was handing out bite-size pieces table-to-table. The pieces were cold and dried out. I was puzzled as to how this would leave a good impression on anyone.

Just pack a few clever disguises, and keep circling through the drive-thru. ;)

What is the difference between a chicken select and a chicken McNugget?

What is the difference between a chicken select and a chicken McNugget?McNuggets are chopped and formed. Parts is parts... pieces is parts.

Chicken Selects are actual sliced breast meat.

One piece of chicken. I thought this was a good deal. I can't see waiting in a busy lunch line for this.

How many Subway sandwiches does 1 Chicken Select equal?

I went through the drive-thru for one effing piece of chicken and coupon. Ridiculous.

I rarely go to McD's. The only thing I really like there are the sundaes. If I'm going to a fast food joint I hit Wendys. Anyway, I walked into Walmart to go shopping today at about 12:30PM & to my surprise someone was standing in front of the small McDonald's in Walmart giving out the tenders & a sauce of your choice. I took one because I happened to be there. I didn't expect them to be offering them, because this McD's doesn't even offer the complete menu. I didn't get a coupon, but it's not like I'd be buying any of them anyway. I thought that it tasted good, but all chicken fingers basically taste the same to me.

I liked it. I was going there for a Happy Meal for my son anyways. My wife and I each got a piece and a couple of coupons. I'm glad you didn't have to wait in line for them and no purchase was necessary. We'll probably stop by again tomorrow if there's a McD's along our way. Free is good.
