Is there a saw uncut coming up?
Hi,
in the UK there will be a normal release and an uncut release!
See www.play.com - search for "saw".
Is the US-version the uncut version?
I like the packing more.
regards
Claus

Well in the Audio Interview that was done on DVDtalk last week, the director talked about a Special Edition later on but it wasnt quite 100% since he isnt part of the marketing. But Im sure they will cash in on it when Saw 2 opens up later this year.

I am going to do my best and not buy the dvd on Tues/this week.
I am going to wait and see what happens when The Devils Rejects is released and see if an uncut House of 1000 Corpses is released.
This could give you an idea on if we will ever see uncut versions of other LG films when/if sequels are made.
Oh I saw in the Best Buy add, they are offering a bonus disc with preview scenes from High Tension and Devils Rejects. I don't know if the trailers will be included,or if they are just one sequence per film as a tease.
While it seems cool,I will try my best not to buy the dvd right away.
...also it is not 100% true LG does not release 'uncut' stuff anymore. They released Irreversible uncut, and High Tension 'may' be uncut(still remains to be seen,if they are going to edit it too an R..thus lieing too us,or not). But you can bet your ass, once they cut something for an R rating. An uncut release is very unlikely sadly(unless they are just holding out for future cash ins on sequels etc?).
