And I mean the original CSI. Seems like there hasn't been a thread on it in ages.

Tonight's episode was pretty good. Not sure if it's a repeat but it was new to me so I made a thread.

Spoiler:
I liked the fact that the hunter died. Call me crazy but if you're such a great hunter...you'd be smart enough to wait an hour to see if the damn Grizzly got up.

Also glad that the zoo keeper was the bad guy. Not all of those guys are in it for a love of animals and it shows in the way the animals are treated.

I'm still a little iffy on the new format. Seems like the show could use a little more Grissom but the rest picked up the slack.

I still do. I think there's just not anything to talk about sometimes.

Since it's the top rated scripted series on TV this season I'm going to go out on a limb and say "yes."

Well, looks like Louise Lombard's (Sophia) real life pregnancy is finally forcing her off the show sooner than later this season. I did enjoy Grissom hitting on Sophia, though.

That and the slight hint of jealousy on Sara's part.

Like Sara has a leg to stand on, she's one slip-up away from the streets herself.

The episode with the 'furries" last year (or was it the year before?) was great though.

I still watch as well, but the show is so damn procedural, I could say the same thing in every thread and it could easily apply to every episode.

Recorded last night's ep and will watch it over the weekend.

I couldn't find this thread

Thanks Chew

I wasn't a fan of the hunting story line, and certainly did not need to see footage of the rhino being shot.

Both story lines were easily figured out, and while I knew the mother was the one involved I had thought she was sleeping with the son-in-law.

And then Gil alienates Sara by taking out the blonde chick, that's looking like a blowup there

I still watch anything "CSI" related. It is taking some time getting used to the new groupings on CSI LV but I still enjoy it and consider it one of the best shows on TV right now...

Not sure if it was just my local station but CSI NY came on this week @ 230 EST....it was a great episode, definitely a keeper on the old DVR....

It's definitely appointment TV for me, and I'm really down to just a handful of those types of shows. I wasn't crazy about the department shakeup either, but it's still great more often than not.

I've almost completely given up on Miami, although I've been telling myself that for the better part of 2 and a half seasons. NY, however, seems to be getting its feet under it quality-wise and I'm enjoying it quite a bit.

Once American Idol starts back up with the competition phase, it'll probably garner slightly better ratings than CSI:LV.
