Exchange 2000 SP3
Recently I have been having a problem where Veritas Backup-Exec 9.1 would report that it couldn't verify certain emails becuse they were corrupt. After investigating what emails they were I found some interesting things.
*They are always Forwarded emails
*The email will be empty, state the correct size, but have an attachment always 64 B and when you double click on it it opens a "new email message"
*I can delete the emails no problem
I could live with it but would like to know what causing it.
Here are some sample screen shots

any idea whats going on with these emails?
Also something else that is interesting is that I have some AD user accounts set to also forward all there mail somewhere else, lets say gmail. when the message it sent gmail, the attachment and email is displayed fine. But internally they are not, have tried with Outlook web access, 2000 and 2003 clients. Have a feeling it may be an exchange issue.
