Any plans for more Cannon Movie Tales? The Frog Prince, Puss in Boots, and others
I was hoping the release of Faerie Tale Theatre would bring these closer to the front of MGM's release plans. So far, only Red Riding Hood has been released - and NOT in widescreen, unfortunately. The cover also bears no mention that it is part of the Cannon Movie Tales, so that doesn't seem to bode well for the rest being released:
Sleeping Beauty
Hansel and Gretel
Snow White
Rumpelstiltskin
Puss in Boots (Christopher Walken!)
The Emperor's New Clothes
The Frog Prince
Beauty and the Beast
A few have been released in Germany, but they're dubbed in German with no option for the original English soundtrack.
Anybody have good news?

Were the VHS tapes originally in widescreen? Or just made for TVscreen size?
Re: The Frog Prince. I hope that Disney now? Eventually releases the Muppet version of The Frog Prince. I have an anchient VHS version I got used a couple of years ago.

IIRC, these were made for the big screen and not for tv.
