Last year sometime I posted a thread both here and the International forum regarding Superbits at CDWow! This is Part III (I think).

Okay, so it is explained at the beginning to avoid confusion. Yes, these are region 3 Superbits (not bootlegs at all). They WILL play on regular R1 players. Superbits (and superbits only) from Region 3 NTSC (Asia), Region 4 NTSC (Brazil) and Region 1 are all actually coded as region all. It is VERY possible that there will be some Chinese writing on the spine or back of the cover. Please note that in advance. If it bothers you, then don't bother. Aside from the possible Chinese characters, these Superbits are identical to the R1's.

so will the second disc of Hollow Man play on region 1 players?

I have not heard of any issues. I know my 2nd disc of The Patroit plays fine. It is just something about the R3 Spiderman and the way it was pressed. It is actually Region code 3, not all region like the first disc.

If anyone else has ordered other region 3 Superbit 2-disc sets, please weigh in. As I understand it, the superbit movie disc will play on my region 1 player. I would like to know if anyone else has had issues with the bonus disc (second disc of the superbit set) playing on a region 1 player. thanks!

Thanks, I ordered Dracula. I hope the order gets to me, the shipping information fields were odd. I ended up just putting my complete address in the big address blank so I had to repeat some info on the form.
