Who knows, could be good entertainment at a party!?

They are:
Identity Crisis, item#841379

Product Description: Identity fraud is the fastest growing crime in America. With millions of victims and losses in the billions of dollars, it continues to be one of consumers' biggest fears. This free DVD tells the story of a couple whose credit is ruined and of the criminals who defrauded them. The DVD by High Noon Film, presented by the U.S. Postal Inspection Service, also provides tips on how to protect yourself against identity fraud -- and what to do if you become a victim.

Dialing for Dollars, item #841324

Product Description: Telemarketing fraud costs Americans millions of dollars each year. And when it comes to phony investment "opportunities," older Americans are prime targets. This free 15 minute DVD tells the story of such a scam and the lives that are ruined by these criminals. The film also provides tips on how to protect yourself from investment frauds and tells you what to do if you've been victimized."Dialing for Dollars" is a High Noon film presented by the U.S. Postal Inspection Service.

Work at Home Scam, item #841375

Product Description: Working from home has become attractive to many stay-at-home moms, college students and retirees. While some of the jobs are legitimate, others just don't deliver on their promises. This free, short film tells the story of a new type of work- at-home scam and how a young mother gets caught up in it. It also provides tips on how you can avoid being duped by criminals and what to do if you've been victimized. This High Noon Film is presented by the U.S. Postal Inspection Service.

you will need to set up an account at shop.usps.com, and provide a credit card, however, the DVDs and shipping and handling are free, it seems to fill in a dummy credit card number on your order confirm.

Ok. mods can you change the title to "3 Free U.S. Postal Service DVDs!"

I don't wanna be accused of breaking anyone's heart! -biggrin-

Anyway, I'll post a review if I get them...I really like those "Educational Archive" DVDs of old training and public service films....

If you haven't gotten an order confirm, log in to your account and check your order status, if there's nothing there, you didn't place the order. Chances are the problem is that you need to enter your credit card before submitting the order.

When you get to the page, marked "Confirmation", you will need to go to the section marked "Review Payment and Shipping Information", then click on "Please enter information in the Payment Information Page", once you have entered it, then hit "Continue" and then submit the order on the "Confirmation" page. As I noted in the first post, your credit card won't be charged, it seems to fill in the order confirm with a dummy number, but it won't take the order without it.

As misterchimpy said, I needed to go thru the "Please enter information in the Payment Information Page" in order to get this to work, even though I was already a USPS on-line customer (I've ordered stamps thru there before, so they already had my credit card info on file). I tried to place this order two days ago without success, but today clicked thru the Payment Information page and the order went through and posted to my account. I didn't have to make any changes to the Payment Information, but apparently they want you to look at it!

Thanks for the tip!

I ordered on Feb. 6. and I still haven't received these.
When I check the on-line order history, it shows the order, but there's no ship date listed. I've sent them a request for status and I'll let you know what I find out.

I was amazed to find two out of the three of these in my mail today..now I know why media mail is so slow :d

(btw, got the work at home scammers and dialing for dollars..no identity theft one..)

both were amaray-type cases, dvds inside with a small little poster, wrapped in plastic with a label affixed to the outside plastic..

haven't viewed em yet but the back of the case says "widescreen format" and "dolby surround" ..

ordered march 11 05 ..
