Counter Strike: Source Spray Question

Hey guys,

Does anyone know how to convert a transparent background .TGA file to the .VTF file format that CS:S uses for sprays? I keep finding all these "easy" tutorials online and I can't understand any of them. I need a program that converts it or instructions for people who don't have a computer science degree.

Thanks.

Use this. There's a tutorial here but if you already have a transparent TGA all ready you can just skip to step 10.

slightly off topic, but Jello (and everyone else), check out my brand new CS: Source server sometime... if no one is on, check back soon... I am going to have lots of custom maps running... should be pretty fun

Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. I have tried so many different times and this is the first one that has worked.

How do you search for a server with the IP address? I'll check it out. I play as Green Jello. What do you use?

I play as "Spidey" most of the time... If you go to "Favorites", you can right click in the box (if I remember correctly) and choose add server to favorites and then "add by IP"... That should work, but I'm not in front of a machine with CS on it right now so I can't double check my memory... if you want to sign up for my forums (see my sig), you can send me a PM over there and I'll answer it quickly after I get home (in about two hours). Worst comes to worst, you can search for it by name in the list (WWW.MONSTERSOFGAMING.COM should be the name of the server, also)

I hope to see you there... I'll definitely be playing some tonight... probably from 6-8 PM Eastern, at least and maybe more after 10 or 11PM.

Hey, I bookmarked this server the day you told me about it and I've checked every day, and there has so far NEVER been anyone in it.
