Freidkins Sorcerer - which version?
I note that Freidkins Sorcerer is due for release next week.
I picked up a copy of this movie last year via a DVD supplier, but I cannot remember who it was released by (I am at work at the mo). It is a fullscreen mono release, and I have searched around to do a comparison but cannot find it listed.
I notice the upcoming release is 2 channel stereo, but apart from that looks to be the same, unless anyone knows anything different...?

DVD Talk Ultimate Edition
Haven't seen the Sorcerer DVD, but I can highly recommend the Criterion Wages of Fear that it is a remake of.
Edit: It does appear that Sorcerer is full-frame, but I don't know what the OAR of the original was. It does say "Pan & Scan". There's a list of bonus features (not many) here

according to imdb the film was shot 35mm sperical and show in the 1.66:1 aspect ratio.
the laserdisc details claim 1.33:1 and that:
"The director William Friedkin SPECIFICALLY asked MCA to NOT letterbox the disc, as he is a rabid anti-letterbox fanatic."
so while 1.33:1 is not technically correct, it's pretty close...
