Ray...Best Buy Exclusive DVD+ CD(Great Deal!!!)

I thought I'd mention this. Best Buy is offering a DVD concert that was filmed, I bnelieve by CBS, as a tribute to the late great Ray Charles. It features many performers performing and singing to many of Charles' classic songs. Some of the performers include the overly talented Norah Jones(Yeah!!!!) and the over hyped and over exposed Usher(Boo!!!) . I saw the DVD and it certainly looks very cool, and something nice to have. I also called the store, where I have a friend that works, and he said that on top of that the first 50 customers to purchase the "Limited Edition" will also receive the films soundtrack as an added bonus.

Regular version-$15.99 + a tribute DVD(free)

Limited Edition- $36.99 + tribute DVD and the films soundtrack.


This makes me want to get the "Limited Edition" even more now.

Make sure you bring the circut city ad, they are charging $32.99 for the "LE" set, as opposed to $36.99. So that way, you'll get all the goodies, and say $4.00 in the process(hey, that's a meal at Mc Donalds).

No, if you read the ad you'll see it's 2 for 25 for the tribute DVD, so this is a no-go.

That seems pretty odd that they wouldn't give you both the tribute DVD and the soundtrack considering how much more the LE costs. I guess we'll see Tuesday.

I think that guy is gonna bring the coupon, have the cashier scan it, and then hopefully the cashier will manually enter the discount.

They still scan, but the percentage isn't deducted. I figure if it's one DVD they won't mind. It's definitely a YMMV. :)

My fault. I was thinking of the last day most people used them (last release date of 2004). Good thinking, though, since every coupon I used had to be manually entered into the system.

As for this Ray fiasco, I've concluded that I'll only get the LE if the tribute DVD and soundtrack are somehow part of the package deal (which I'm not banking on). Otherwise, I'll just get the regular edition with the 2-for-25 deal and put the money that would've gone to the LE, towards something else.

I apologize I DID READ IT WRONG!!! However at my store in Los Angeles , I was informed through my friend that if you buy the Limited Edition they are throwing in the DVD and the CD(the CD is to the first 10 customers) If you buy the regular DVD it becomes a 2 for $25 issue. That's how it works!!!! He gave me the wrong infor, and I posted it here, so I'm sorry about that!!!
