The Bodyguard 2-Disc SE $11.88 at DDD

Haven't seen this posted yet. I just came across the upcoming Bodyguard 2-Disc SE on DDD's site. Looks to be a price error, and I'm not sure how DDD does with errors, but it's worth a shot if you want the movie.

Saw it this morning and jumped all over it. It's not a price error. With the problems I have ordering by webtv I always order over the phone with DDD and $11.88 is the price. I've seen them with low prices on older movies before. I remember ordering Dirty Dancing Ultimate Edition 2 disc when it first came out and it was about 50% off and stayed that way for months. Guaranteed no B&M will beat this price for the Bodyguard (half of them probably won't even carry it).

I don't think it's an error on the price. I do think it's an error on the number of discs, though. With only a music video, a trailer, and some interviews I definitely don't think this is a 2 disc edition. Plus, on the banner, it only says Special Edition and not the typical 2 Disc Special Edition.

The only other edition out there is a Fullscreen version. This version says its widescreen so it has to be the new 2D special edition thats coming out in Feb.

it is shown listed among the other warner 2 disc editions so i would guess that it is also 2 disc and maybe the list of extras is incomplete.

Hmm...mine didn't. I ordered this & <i>Degrassi Jr. High S1</i> on the same order. Degrassi shipped yesterday, but Bodyguard is still in preorder status with ship out date of 2/1. WTF?

The Bodyguard is only ONE disc, and doesn't contain the promised commentary track with Costner, Houston and the director, either. Only bonuses are a Whitney Houston music video, a brand new 27-minute documentary (which DOES contain new interview material with Costner, Houston, Mick Jackson and others) and the theatical trailer.

The new transfer is less than impressive...a lot of grain in the print - but at least it's anamorphic.

Still worth it to see the new documentary, but overall, I wouldn't pay more than $15 for the DVD.
