MP3 advice: iRiver vs. Creative

I am thing about buying Creative MuVo TX FM from Amazon.com at $117 or iRiver IFP795T from Circuit City at $165 (including tax & rebate).
Both are 512MB flash drive.
Creative seems to be regular priced and iRiver seems to be on sale.

Which is a better deal?

Nearly all of my music files are WMA burned from my CD collection.

I have what I think is the previous version of that iRiver player - I have loved it. I can't compare it to the other player you're looking at, but know when I was doing my research I read nothing but rave reviews of iRiver in general.

Good luck!

One quick warning about using WMA files you ripped: by default, Windows Media Player rips "protected" WMAs, which most WMA-capable players can't handle. I know that iRiver players can't; I doubt Creative players can, although you should E-mail them to find out. Unless you went into Windows Media Player's preferences and told it not to "protect" the WMAs you ripped, odds are you're going to have to re-rip them all.

All things being equal, I always recommend against buying Creative products. Their drivers are often incredibly buggy, and their customer service is horrible.
