Recommend some good action GBA games for a long flight.
I am taking a long flight soon and I am trying to decide what GBA games to get for the trip. I already picked up Zelda the Minish Cap and I am looking for a good action or platform game that would be good for killing time. I have Super Mario Bros 3 and WarioWare already.

Yeah, any Metriod/Castlevaia game will fill your needs just fine.
May I also reccomend the Astro-Boy game for the GBA - it's kinda like Viewtiful Joe, only not as tough. It's a fun side-scrolling action/beat-'em-up game.

my flight is around 13-14 hours then an overnight layover in Tokyo then another 6 hour flight the next morning.
I might get metal slug or astro boy. I like metroid and castlevania but I am looking for a game I can just pick up and play a bit without having to think too much, basically a button masher.

Mario vs. Donkey Kong was a good game - almost a platform but not quite. Advance Wars 1 & 2 are always good games too but don't fit into the same category you describe.

I have beaten that game at least a dozen times. It's great because you can make it as hard or as easy as you want to.

I am thinking about Mario Vs. Donkey Kong, metal slug, astro boy and maybe something mindless like double dragon. I probably wont get them all but just see what I can find used, although I think I will try to track down metal slug since I have loved neo geo games since I owned the original cartridge system way back when it first came out.
