BargainOutfitters (http://www.dansdeals.com/gateway.asp?url=8379) has a deal on Dr. Martens Moc-Toe Oxfords for $29.97!

This is a can't-miss, don't-miss-it bargain! Huge Close-Out savings on "Docs" that are the just-right blend of comfort, durability and looks. The full-grain leather uppers are flexible, with a sophisticated, subtle shine. Moc-toe styling separates them from the everyday pack. The famed Dr. Martens AirWair air-cushioned outsole puts bounce in your step. Nylon-lined insole can be removed to air out. Synthetic leather lining adds durable comfort. Each is approx. 4 1/2" tall and 21 ozs.

Shipping is only $5.99 for UPS Ground and they shipped my order out the very next day.

Also, the sizes are converted to US sizes already, for our convenience.

Thanks!

what is http://www.dansdeals.com/gateway.asp?url=8379? If you link was straight to the sales source it would be alright.

So, is this a reputable site? What if it is the wrong size will they exchange it no problem?

Yeah it's reputable, I believe it's through the same company that runs the Sportsman's Guide.

Thanks. Got a pair. I have been finding all sorts of deals on Doc's lately. All I need now are a pair of burgandy dress shoes.

Trying to match a purse?

Stew

What would I said have anything to do with a purse? No, I was meaning that I recently picked up a black and tan pair of Doc Martens. The only other color that I could use would be a burgandy or cordovan pair of dress shoes.

Check the bottom of the shoe or inside for the country of origin. Doc Marten shut down the England plant last year or late in 03 and these cheaper Doc's are made in China or Taiwan. The quality has gone downhill. I have over 40 pairs of Doc's (yeah, I have OCD (you oughta see my DVD collection)) and these new ones are nowhere near as durable. I have a pair of brown 8 eye that are 7 years old and still going strong. I picked up a new pair last summer and got about 4 months of wear. I have spent the past months hitting all the industrial footwear stores buying up my size in their steel toe line for work. I should have enough steel toes to carry me through to retirement.

Just my opinion, but there is a reason the price of these shoes has dropped.
