To be honest, I'm kind of tired of seeing Static all over the place with these crossovers. He just gives me the "Wonder Twin" vibe.
Other than that, I liked the episode. When the giant robots showed up in the middle of the wild West I just thought, "Man, this show is great."

Didn't care for it to much but ending was nice and good setup for next week. I did notice future Static wasn't wearing the same outfit he had on the last time we saw him. Instead he was wearing his current outfit.
Who is Hex and what are his powers? He kind of looks like a walking dead guy.

Needed way more hex. This episode could have stretched to three episodes easily and be great.
can't wait till next week. Old bruce is going to chew out young bruce.

Hex was the fellow in the other Batman Animated Series right? In an episode with Ra's Al Ghul? I haven't seen that in awhile, but i knew the strange face was familiar. Was he anything special in the comics?
Anyway, downloaded and caught the episode... nice as always, although i'm looking forward to part 2 more.

Jonah Hex was a staple in DC's "Weird Western Tales" for years, then finally got his own title. Hex was an abused child who lived with Indians as a slave for a while, and was found guilty of some crime - wherein the Indians put a hot tomahawk blade on his face, the "sign of the demon". He became a Confederate soldier and bounty hunter after that, and perhaps the best shot in the West.
"He was a hero to some, a villain to others...and wherever he rode people spoke his name in whispers. He had no friends, this Jonah Hex, but he did have two companions: one was death itself...the other, the acrid smell of gunsmoke..."
Hex has met several heroes during their time-traveling, which is why he dropped that line to Batman, but for a minute I thought it was a reference to the short-lived comic series Hex, where he was transported to a Mad Max-like 21st Century America (and eventually learned of his own fate).
I was hoping that the sherrif would be the later Brian Savage/Scalphunter, and had almost forgotten Pow-Wow Smith; it took me some time to realize that Manning was Terra-Man, one of Superman's enemies.

Anyhoo, this was a great episode. I completely forgot that this was the one where Terry (Batman Beyond) would show up, so I was pleasantly surprised to see him at the end. Can't wait for the next episode.

Found this on tivocommunity.com
Mine picked it up, but now I'm trying to remember if I have it set to first run only or repeats. I think I was trying to catch an episode I missed before, so I'm betting I had it set to repeats, and that's why I caught it.
So don't blame TiVo, its the douchbag that set the guide data incorrectly that needs to be strung up.
The first episode has an incorrect first-run date (year, really) of 1/22/2004 , so TiVo thinks it's a rerun.

yeah, mine is a standalone, and my tivo missed it. cause i have it set to first run only.
there's been so many weeks between new episodes, i stopped looking for the upcoming episodes.
i'm sure it'll be repeated.

Hex also appeared on B:TAS in the episode of "Showdown".
Ra's Al Ghul relates the story of his son in 1870's-80's wild west.
Glad on JLU they used the more tradition appearance of Hex.
On B:TAS he looked 75 years old.
Also nice to see Bat Lash (sounding very "Maverick" like), El Diablo, and Pow-Pow Smith.
