Looking to buy 24 Seasons 2 and 3, after getting a good deal on Amazon with their low first-season price and STL. And now that STL is gone, what's the best deal on the other two seasons, together or separately?

I'm looking for these too. The trick worked. S1 was amazing and I'm addicted.

Same here! I couldn't stand it any longer and finally ordered both seasons 2 and 3 from Deep Discount for a total of $98.83 shipped.

Besides the fact I have seen seasons 2 and 3....I would wait on purchasing additional seasons. I have a feeling they will reduce the price on future seasons although maybe not as much as they did with the first season sets. :)

That's like telling a heroin addict to wait a few months before his next fix. :)

My suggestions would be:

If you have a Hollywood Video near you that stocks '24', consider the VIP membership ($10/month- unlimited rentals on everything but brand new releases). I know mine has Season 2 free with VIP, and by the time you finish watching all those, Season 3 will probably be eligible as well.

If you must own, check the exchange forum here- there have been some people post these sets for good prices. Or, if you're very disciplined, eBay is a good option, as the final prices for these sets are often wildly disparate. I got a mint Season 2 for $26 shipped after many days of stalking (sometimes they'll go for $50+). And make sure it's not an import.

Costco has Season 3 for like 42 dollars

I bought S1 and was hooked. Was about to buy S2, when I noticed the public library had it. Tax payer dollars actually did some good!

I've decided not to buy any additional seasons until I watch my first season set. I've had the thing since Black Friday ($12.99 at BB) but have not watched a single episode yet (I've seen them on TV though when they first aired).

Huh!

If you dont mind region 2 dvd's try here

24 S2 at Choices direct (http://www.choicesdirect.com/templates/product.asp?ProductGuid=659839)

24 S3 at choices Direct (http://www.choicesdirect.com/templates/product.asp?ProductGuid=665253)

Postage to the US is $ 9.37 per Order

so works out about $ 73 for season 2 and 3 ordered together.

Those who dont want Region 2 dvd's the fact that these are reduced points towards Season 2 and 3 being reduced shortly in Region 1 so might be worth waiting, also note that packaging is different to Region 1 releases

Man, I'm tempted to place an order with DDD, seeing as how it would be impossible to find a similar deal as with the first season. I'm kicking myself now that I didn't get these when I had Love sent to me, or during DDD's 20% sale. Oh well... I don't know how much longer I can hold out for a price drop, but I doubt it would be soon, perhaps when Season 4 comes to DVD.

P.S.: I can't find Seasons 2 and 3 on Costco.com, only the first one and it's $39.99.

I got S1 during the price drop for $15...never really watched it b4 and figured for that price I'd give it a shot. Fell in love with the show.

I then stumbled on to a copy of S2 at a local mom&pop vid store for sale as PVD. Picked it up for $29+tax. Since I couldn't wait to see S3, I simply used my free month of BBV online and rented it for free...so I can wait to buy it when I get a good price.

Drives me crazy now having to wait a week for each episode of S4..LOL.

If you're willing to split your order, you can get 24:S2 and 24:S3 for $97.83...

24:S2 for $48.85 from DDD (free s/h)
24:S3 for $48.98 from Barnes & Noble (free s/h)

If purchased together, the least expensive seems to be B&N for $97.96

$97.96 Barnes & Noble (48.98 + 48.98 + free s/h)
$98.83 DDD (48.85 + 49.98 + free s/h)
$101.48 Amazon (48.99 + 52.49 + free s/h)
$103.72 Best Prices.com (50.01 + 49.74 + 3.97 s/h)
$104.81 Buy.com (48.98 + 52.48 + 3.35 s/h)

Me too! Though I suppose I could tape it each week and watch all of 'em together.

Well I couldn't take it, so I caved in, and ordered both seasons on B&N.com. I found a $5 off coupon (BNOFFER), but the bastards charged me sales tax!

Subtotal $97.96
Promotional Discounts - $5.00
Standard Delivery FREE
Sales Tax $5.58
ORDER TOTAL $98.54

Oh well. I hear their shipping is good, so I should have this within 2 days.

I Netflixed the first three seasons and picked up the first season when it was available for $12.99. I'm watching the fourth as it airs now (the first year I'm doing this - previously I waited for the DVDs) and am hating to wait a whole week now to see what's next. This is why I hardly ever watch broadcast TV. DVD has spoiled me. ;)

The best price I've seen for S2 or S3 is $45.88 at Walmart. I'll wait until they're under $35. It's not the kind of show I'd watch an episode here or there, since it's all one season-long story.

Maybe in a real Walmart, but not on Walmart.com.
