Any word on "Fridays" DVD Release?

With almost everything getting released on DVD now, has anyone heard about the old SNL Knock Off Friday's being released on DVD? I am big fan of Larry David and would love to see some of these old shows he wrote.

Also anyone remember other show around this time, it was a knock off SNL and Friday but didnt last long at all. I believe it came on Saturday but not sure

I'd be up for Fridays on DVD. I used to watch that show all the time.

I also remember a great comedy show on HBO around the time of Fridays. It was called "Not Necessarily The News", it was just as funny as Fridays!

But the question is, would you watch them?

I sure would. There's a site that's selling 20 Fridays episodes complete, bootlegs of course, but since the show may never be released it may be the only way to watch these classics. I know the quality may stink, but I'd rather see something that brings back fond memories, even if it looks bad, rather than not see it at all...So I may be getting the set. Still, I hope the show eventually comes to DVD so I can buy a pristine set.

According to this, the only actor able to veto the release of this show on DVD - Michael Richards - has done so.
