I signed up for this last time it was offered and I just got my first issue yesterday...it was the September 2004 issue!! Just thought that was weird.

Yeah that happened to me on my Blender sub. They sent me the last 3 months of issues in two weeks to catch me up to the correct month. It's FREE so I can't complain.

Thanks for the link D...

I don't know why but I signed up for this. I got my first one last week. It's all about who's wearing what in Hollywood and the latest trends. Looks like a YM or Cosmo type mag. Beware, dudes!

Yeah, Movieline used to be a real movie mag, now it's pretty much a movie fashion mag. :p

I got this as a freebie, and I almost feel cheated. It's 200 pages of "Look at this so-called Hollywood celebrity that we've been paid to promote, don't they look good in clothes you can't afford at parties you weren't invited to?" There's about a paragraph of reading in the entire issue.

Yeah, I've been getting this intermittedly since getting a free sub about 2 years ago. They won't send it for a few months then I'll get 2 or 3 issues at once. Just got the Kate Bosworth issue 2 days ago. It's not that great of a magazine, but its free and it at least has enough reading material for one trip to the bathroom.

Sounds like something for the wife to breeze through, and maybe get "hair ideas" from. Thanks!

Got a popup for "A Beautiful Mind" DVD, that said expired August 2004, though. :hscratch: I didn't bother.

After getting the September issue yesterday I got the Dec./Jan. issue today. I also received a subscription renewal bill that I will shread. They want $15 for 20 issues which is cheap if I cared for the magazine. I went through the first one in less than 30 minutes and am ready to get rid of it.

Is there a way to cancel these subs without contacting the P.O. directly?

Today I got my 3rd issue - they went backwards and sent me the November issue.
