A Tale of Two Sisters - March 29th

Tartan Asia Extreme will be releasing the fantastic Korean horror film A Tale of Two Sisters in R1 on March 29nd. Specs look the same as the R2 disc so this 2-discer will have a nice bunch of special features.

Here's a review of the R2:

I just wish Tartan could've had some voice in TLA's earlier releases of Asian cinema. Hopefully Tartan will extend their stay at TLA and give us new releases for Suicide Club and 2LDK.

Matt. What do you find wrong with the TLA release of 2LDK to justify a rerelease by Tartan? Just curious. Didn't find many flaws with the TLA release and the extras (which I don't typically consider) were adequate.

I don't believe I saw it mentioned -but are all the extras either in English or subtitled in English, including the commentaries?

The transfer, despite being anamorphic, looked terrible. It reminded me a lot of Tartan's original PAL release of Battle Royale (which they luckilly fixed by their numerous re-releases). It also didn't help that the subtitles were burned into the picture and were not player generated. Same applies to Suicide Club, but that transfer was a thousand times worse. Oh, and had no extras.

Yes, since this release is identical to the Tartan R2 release:

The large majority of the bonus features are in Korean and come fully subtitled for your viewing pleasure.

I hope you will all pardon me for saying this, but I think the R3 release looks better, than the R2....any thoughts? Which do you think sounds better.?
