Glad it is straight to video. Won't sully the first one's rep as bad that way. On the upside, nice to see it got the widescreen treatment.

My thoughts exactly! Actually, I think I do want to see the new movie too but only so I can claim "I am the only person who saw 'Sandlot 2'" and rave about how bad it is to people who haven't seen it. But I'm more interested to see that bonus feature.

Well, one of 'em had a pretty significant part in Mystic River. And did a stint as "that kid in front of me" in high school Spanish, sophomore year.

Tom Guiry or 'Smalls' did have a good part in Mystic River, he was also good in Joel Schumacher's Tigerland

Thank God I work at Blockbuster! I can rent it for free and see that "where are they now?" and not waste my money!

May I add....stupid idea! I saw the first one when I was like 10 or 11, the first was a great movie! It's all about the money I guess.

They suckered James Earl Jones into returning? Sheesh.

and the tagline:

Relive the magic of the original Sandlot!

If I wanted to do that, I would pop in my original Sandlot DVD. Who comes up with this crap anyway?
