exclusive B &N oscar winning classic cartoons DVD
I was on bn.com
and I found this Academy Award-Winning Classic Cartoons dvd set
I'd love to know if there is more on it then the cartoons listed on the back image. I think it's $24.95. Anybody know anything about it?

Wow, great detective work!
I poked around to see if I could find info, but no luck. I went to the Turner Classic Movies site (since they had info about last year's exclusive -- with the Oscar shorts). And I even checked Cartoon Network's site on a lark. Nothing.

According to the bn website:
The Academy Award-Winning Classics collection boasts 7 new-to-DVD cartoons. Each won an Oscar for Best Short Subject Cartoon, and they vary in length from 6 to 8 minutes. Included here are: Rudolf Ising’s “The Milky Way” (1941); Joseph Barbera and William Hanna’s “Quiet Please!” (’46); Barbera and Hanna’s “The Cat Concerto” (’47); Friz Freleng’s “Tweety Pie” (’48); Barbera and Hanna’s “Johann Mouse” (’53); Freleng’s “Birds Anonymous”(’58); and Freleng’s “Knighty Knight Bugs” (’59).
Seems kinda pricey for 7 'toons (especially considering I already have at least a few of them).

Folks, try going into a local B&N and asking for it. That is what I did last year for the Academy Award-Winning Shorts disc. The cashier in the DVD and music department simply handed one over without asking me to buy anything. Your mileage may vary, of course.
