No. The rights to "Return" reside with Artisan, not MGM. Artisan has a pretty crappy quality non-anamorphic (but OAR) DVD of "Return." At least it's only about $6.
Too bad, since "Return" is one of the best in the series.

What's the reason why it's going for that much? Is it now OOP? Or is it just perceived to be?
UPDATE: Ok, just checked ebay, and YES, it is going pretty hight. Usually not more than $25.00 + shipping, but there are sellers listing it upwards of around $50.
And I guess it is OOP. Amazon does not list any in stock, aside from USED ones starting at $32.00 and more. DDD.com doesn't even carry any. It's discontinued at DVD Planet. So, yeah...this is very OOP.
Pick them up at from the Wal Mart cheapie bins!

Actually, the $50+ was for sealed copies, since that is what you would find in the Walmart dump bin. And I know of a used DVD dealer paying $33 for it.

Wow. I didn't know it had gone OOP. Last I had seen they were readily available in the bargain bins. Still, if I didn't already have one I wouldn't pay those kind of inflated prices. A re-release is inevitable, hopefully in an improved version.

Picked up The Pink Panther, The Pink Panther Strikes Again, and Revenge Of The Pink Panther all for $5 each at Family Dollar recently. Also had managed to get The Return Of The Pink Panther at WM for $5.50 some time ago.

also...you may want to compare the packaging for R1....Canada has a diffrent set that doesn't stack disc on top of each other in the set....its is a must own...i have the u.s. version, but i would wait the extra few days to get it from amazon.ca
