I mean, why no DVD of Convoy? I saw Convoy on digital cable the other day and it was beautiful...far better video quality over the videotape version I have. This is classic 70s stuff, even if the movie is a cheese-fest.
Also, where is my DVD of Night of the Comet?

Doesn't Anchor Bay own the rights to this, based on their licensing to the EMI catalog?? Or does MGM thru the UA catalog??

There's a whole lot of Peckinpah I'd like to see on dvd before Convoy. I'm a shade more anxious for Major Dundee, Ride the High Country, Pat Garrett and Billy the Kid and The Ballad of Cable Hogue.
Convoy... the one Peckinpah movie I dislike even more than Osterman Weekend.

i don't count the convoy release...i can get a better release at the tables at and comic convention.
nightshakebooks...all of those are planned for this year...but still no word on convoy...good year for Peckinpah fans...could get better with convoy.

I can say on behalf of everybody in the Western World that we all believe PFE to be a legitimate company as proved by their release next month of:
