Stanley Kubrick: A Life in Pictures Documentary

Is the Kubrick boxed set the only way you can watch this documentary?

And for those who have seen it.....What did you think about it?

No. I taped it off TCM or IFC ... I forget which ... so future airings are a possibility. That or E-Bay.

Edit:

It's on Jan. 25th:

Stanley Kubrick: A Life in Pictures (2001)
5MAX Jan 25 03:45pm e.s.t. Movies, 145 Mins.

It'll hold your interest one time through, but if you're a big enough fan to want to watch it, you'll likely know most of what is said. The most interesting thing is just seeing random people (like, for instance, Woody Allen) talk about how cool Kubrick was.

I laughed my ass off at Sydney Pollack's interview.

"But Sydney... don't you want to get it right?"

I don't know if the Stanley Kubrick: A Life in Pictures book/DVD combo has been delayed or cancelled. Amazon has given it the notorious "January 1, 2010" release date, which usually means they don't know either.

I doubt it will ever come out as the book/DVD combo. That sort of release date on Amazon is always a bad sign. I got mine from eBay. Create and save a search there. One's bound to turn up. I actually paid only $13 for mine. Though it took some time for it to appear at a decent price.

If you have an all-region dvd player - you can get this as a stand alone dvd from Italy:

I probably got it from the same seller... he only carries 3 and often sells out quickly.
