What's the name of this movie?

I saw this on cable in the mid to late 80's. One scene I remember is that the guy is at his girlfriends house, and he has to hide from her parents. He hides in a linen closet, and the girls mom opens the door and gets some towels, but she doesnt see him hiding. Another scene is where he runs throught a gym(?) or concert (?) and there are doo-wop groups performing, someone like the Temptations or the Four Tops. Another scene is where the girlfriend is in a locker room talking to her friend, and the friend says "You went all the way? How big was it?" I remember the title of the movie to be "Davey!" or "Danny!" or something like that. Does this sound familiar to anyone?
