Thin packaged DVDs at Walmart for $3
I was in Walmart last night and noticed a new display with lightly/thinly packaged DVDs selling for $3 each. The packaging does not include a plastic case--it's cardboard packaging--about the same height and width of an insert. I think Maid in Manhatten was one of the titles.
I apologize if this is already being discussed in another topic.

ha, i guess the studios are responding to a small but growing concern of people complaining about how their collections are taking up more shelf space. personally, i hate those thin paks, but it's nice to see them trying.

Yep, dollar store, They has a Bogart movie, another called the 39 steps, some andy griffith shows and some lousy Dragnet eps. I bought the 2 Dragnet dvds and although they had different covers the shows were the same. Not worth taking back at a Buck each.

my thread in the bargains forum from last week check it out here
these are mostly universal direct to video titles....they are not public domain films like the ones found in most dollar stores....they might work in the gamestop deal since they are the same disc released in the past for around 7 bucks with a keep case.
enjoy
