My four local bb had been doing this since last memorial day,but it was half price and all prev. veiwed were normally 9.99. They did it on mem. day,the 4th of july, labor day,and halloween. Then for thanksgiving and christmas-new years they changed it to the buy 2 get one free. I have picked up about 60 since last may that I probably wouldnt have purchased new.

I've found a few nice things in their "recently traded" section, so I'll be checking this out.

Thanks for the heads up on the B2G1F... I'm there.

arent most dvds like 15 bucks? if so that would be like buying 3 movies for $30. or basically $10/movie. didn't they just run a 3/$25 sale? i guess its not much of a difference if you want the movie though.

My post led to a couple funny posts. When I said pull, I did mean for sale. There was something strangely engaging about the movie and I look forward to watching it again.

If you're looking for newer stuff like Spiderman 2, Bourne Supremacy, etc., they'll likely be $12.99 or $14.99, so you might as well wait for the next 3/$25 sale.

b2g1f is great for tv sets, I think resurrection blvd season1 is priced at $6.99 per disc, maybe $5.99. So you can pick up the whole set for a lot less than retail with b2g1f.

Well, considering that their normal every day price is 2 for 20 and most titles are 14.99, this isn't much of a sale. During this "sale" does that mean I have to buy 3 titles to get them for 10 each instead of 2??
I thought I read here a while back that BBV was changing their pricing structure on PVDs in Jan. Was that just a rumor?

At the Blockbuster's i've been to, i wouldn't say most PVD's were 14.99. I'd say most were in the 12.99 or 9.99 range. Only some of the recent releases seem to be 14.99.

Our local Hollywood Video stores in Springfield, IL have been having the same sale for some time now -3 DVD's for $25.
AND, the other day I went in and they were trying to clear out four or more boxes of DVD's up front for $5 a DVD! I picked up The Terminal and a couple of other new movies at that price. And since i bought two of them, then the third from the primary stacks were now $8.33 (1/3 of $25) each.
Not too shabby!

Picked up Collateral,Bourne Supremecy, and Princess Diaries 2(not mine really". Would have also gotten Garden State,King Arthur, and another. But they only had full screen versions of King Arthur. All were 9.99 each so $6.67 each not too shabby.
