Any word on Pat Garrett and Billy the Kid?
One of the best westerns out there with a great cast and score by Dylan yet no DVD release for this Peckinpah great? Has there been any word about a release for this any time soon?

Warners are alledgedly prepping a Peckinpah box set for release this year, including a new - the most complete yet - cut of Pat Garrett & Billy The Kid.

There will apparently be two cuts of Pat Garret and Billy the Kid to enjoy so that is some also good news. Ride the High Country, The Wild Bunch: SE, The Ballad of Cable Hogue will be in the box set with Pat Garrett. With a new found favorite film of mine after catching it on the Western Channel, Bring Me the Head of Alfredo Garcia coming out on March 22nd it could finally be the year of Peckinpah.
