GREAT Toys R Us clearance deals (Disney, TV shows, etc) YMMV!

so I was in Toys R Us tonight and by the checkout there was some DVD's on clearance (all sealed) and here was the list with the prices to the best of my memory

Malcom In The Middle S1 - $10.90
Dawson's Creek S1 - $9.90
Tron 2-Disc - $6.90
Atlantis 1 Disc - $5.90 (I think)
The Anamatrix - $4.90
Planet of The Apes (Burton) 1 Disc - $2.90!

this was the store in Newington, Nh and also YMMV so keep on the lookout!

Those are great deals, figures I was in the shopping center with TRU tonight, didnt run in though.

positive since A) the store does great business (I should know, I used to work there) and B) they were the only DVD's on clearance, on a little end cap...everything else was regular price

just got back from my local TRU. none of the above mentioned titles were in stock or on sale. I checked with a rep who looked up the some of the titles. they did have signs for Buena Vista DVDs for $12.99.

Clarification by TRU employee

Any price ending in .90 is a store markdown. Not a companywide markdown.

Those DVDs were either returned open after Christmas and shrink wrapped or an employee decided they wanted their family to go Christmas shopping cheap.

I went for tron & Dawson's Creek. Didn't have either.

Planet of the Apes (Wahlberg) was $5.90

Didn't find any DVDs, but anything with a green clearance tag is 70% off the marked price. I was able to get a copy of TRUE CRIME STREETS OF LA for Gameboy, marked at $19.98 for $5.98

I didn't find any of the mentioned titles on clearance

I did pick up Spider-Man PC game for $3.30 though.

Went to TRU yesterday also after seeing this thread...

No sign of any of these DVDs at those prices...
