The only people that knew about this while he was playing was Mike Dunleavy and some doctors. I always thought it was strange that he was such a great player at Michigan State and was such a bad player with the Bucks. He still doesn't use it as an excuse for failing in the NBA but it would be tough for any player to overcome that.

Wow, that's pretty shocking. I always liked him as a player, and it's amazing it was kept under wraps for so long. I'm glad to see him doing okay. I also just saw he was hired at my alma matter, Rice. Go figure. I guess I should keep up on school news a little more.

That might expalin why it was disappointing around here when he was on the team.

I heard a live interview he gave today on a local radio station in Detroit talking about it.He even kept from his family for a little bit. He was a great player in college. With so many "Leons" in sports these days using any excuse possible, here's a guy who was and is a real man and a class act.

Wow, I'm amazed that he was even able to last 4 seasons in the NBA. It's nice to see that he doesn't use it as an excuse though.
But compared to many others, his NBA career wasn't that disappointing.
