CSI Miami 1/3/05
Not a particularly strong episode last night I felt.
I'm in general kind of sick of the whole "gang" theme on any show.
It's a tired played out premise and always seems to somehow come out as more embarrassing then sinister. These guys (and expecially the ones on last night's show) usually appear to be too old to be still involved in all that nonsense.
The side story with the very cute 'mother' that ended up being the baby's nanny was fairly uninteresting, and seemed more like afterthought filler.
The establishing shots of the city seen from the air that they use throughout the show continue to look spectacular in HD as always though.

The only reason I watch this show is because of H and he was in the background most of the episode.
I don't know what it is, but Wolfe is getting on my nerves for some reason.

It was weird to not see "Kitty" from "Arrest Development" (The Nanny) not so manic and horny.
Wolfe needs to hit on that nanny now that he got her off in one way.

What really gets me is some of the stupid forensic inaccuracies - things that could easily be fixed if anyone bothered.
For example - when they are showing the DNA profiles of the Nanny and the baby, if you look closely, both DNA profiles are from males. The both have X,Y.

I still look out for H and his shades. He was wearing them in the elevator only to take them off once he made his entrance.

And he had them on in the hospital until he entered the crime scene. I would love to see one episode where he lost them and the whole team had to find them, maybe they could call in NY or Vegas to help out.

In my version of that show Callaigh from Miami and Catherine from Vegas are both assigned to case. They are together looking for H's glasses in a semi dark room.
They get bored with that when suddenly, things lead to things and well...you know.

I like your script better.
I guess we know that when they have to search for H's sunglasses that the show has jumped the shark.
