Why doesn't Liev Schreiber get more movie roles?

I think he is a pretty good actor and you rarely ever see him on the big screen.

He was great in the Manchurian Candidate.

He does a lot of narration work for the HBO sports documentaries like the Rebels of Oakland and Nine Innings From Ground Zero.

he also does voice over narration for the PBS series - 'Secrets of the Dead'

my favourite movie of his is the indie-film Spring Forward

he's also received critical acclaim for his portrayal of Orson Welles in the HBO film: RKO 281

I also really like him as an actor. I thought he was a great off-type Mr. Clark in Sum of All Fears.

I think he's great. I've liked him for about 10 years now (ever since I saw The Daytrippers).

He's a character actor, not a leading man. He's like this decade's Gary Sinise. Expect to see him on a CSI or L&O spinoff shortly. Don't believe me? Then I must break you.

<--- Big Liev Schreiber fan. He's a very good actor and apparently very funny. He was absolutley hilarious when he was on Leno.

One more recommendation for Spring Forward, a criminally underrated film. He was great in that film.

I thought he did pretty well in The Manchurian Candidate, but his role in The Hurricane was absolutely awful. I mean, comically bad (along with everyone else in that movie, save Denzel). I also wasn't too impressed with his role in that Hitler made for TV flick a year or so ago. So, I'm not sure what to think. I guess I'll need to see some more of his work.

Lately he's been working on his directorial debut "Everything is Illuminated", which he also adapted to the screen from the Jonathan Safran Foer novel. Its going to star Elijah Wood and should be out sometime this year. I'm sure the time devoted to this project has eaten away much of his acting time so I wouldn't expect to see him performing in any films soon.

I always hoped they'd make a spin-off of Sum Of All Fears with his character. He was great in that role and I think Tom Clancy has written a few John Clark novels.

He was fantastic in "Manchurian," really held the screen with Streep and Washington.

"Everything Is Illuminated" was a great book, I'm interested in seeing how he does with it as a movie.

He was the only good thing about the remake of The Manchurian Candidate, IMO.

wasn't he in some movie where his character was addicted to pornography? that was the first time i noticed him as an actor and will always remember him being a porn-hound.
