The "Classics Collections" on clearance at Overstock.com!

All range from $5.99-$9.99 for a 4 dvd set with what seems to be nice packaging. DDD has these up for $17.xx-$19.xx so we are getting a great deal here.

http://www.overstock.com/cgi-bin/d2...._SSUB_CAT=1345

At the bottom of the page there is most if not all of the "Collections" to my knowledge.

Classics of Horror
Mystery Collectiom
Film Noir Collection
Science Fiction Collection
Classics of Early Cinema Collection... just for some samples. I picked up Mystery, Film Noir, Classics of Early Cinema, and Science Fiction(I want to see The Killer Shrews...sounds hilarious) for $30.xx with shipping. That's a hell of a deal for 15 dvds. ^^

(note: If this post isn't well organized enough someone tell me and I'll try my best at to making it easier to read. First informational topic here.)

Most of these titles are public domain, but it's a decent price to get several at a time and decent packaging. I bought two of them from Sam's club a few months ago. Not high quality on the video, but for the price it's okay.

They're now priced at $24.99, which is not even a good price compared to other sites.

No they're not. I think you're looking at the 50-movie "megapacks" at the top of the linked page. The deal here involves other collections on the same page, such as the Mystery Collection for $5.99.

I think it sold out. The inventory alert thingy said there were only 5 left when I ordered last night. FWIW, their SKU number for this item is 85525.

The Film Noir Collection was back in stock today, but must of been with not many copies. I ordered it and now it says out of stock again. So if someone wants it, keep checking the link. It seems Overstock is only making it available in small quantities.

Well, those are the only ones worth buying, and, as I said you can get them cheaper.

Well, that's fine and all, but this thread is not about those sets, so I was helping you to understand what the deal is for. Nice sideways threadcrap, though
