favorite Arnold-potrayed Terminator?
T2 can be one w/ a heart of gold but T1 is plain badass, evil mofo which makes him just better than T2 in my book.
T1
A forbidden glee for this badass.
I never knew how creepy an android can be. What if you saw this boogeyman when you turned on the light.
T2
"No problemo."
Hi five! Too slow!

This is the third(?) incarnation of this thread, and you keep forgetting T3! Also, you do realize that you can go back and edit it pictures and new text all the time, instead of deleting and restarting the thread.

Wasn't he basically the same in T2 and T3? I mean attitude wise, being the good guy and all. Besides forget arnold.. Robert patrick was the best Terminator model in all of them (although the T-X was much much hotter) Go T-1000

I actually thought the Terminator in T3 was a great combination of the charactoristics of 1 and 2. He was more like a machine in T3 than T2 (although I still prefer the T1 version)

Banned
The Terminator: I'm a friend of Sarah Connor. I was told she was here. Could I see her please?
Desk Sergeant: No, can't see her...she's making a statement
The Terminator: Where is she?
Desk Sergeant: Look, it may take a while. Want to wait, there's a bench over there [points to bench and continues paperwork]
The Terminator: [looks around then looks back at him] I'LL BE BACK!

I prefer the T3 version. In T1 he was badass, but only had a few lines. In T2 he was too sappy and his lines were corny. But what do you expect when you start out with Arnold acting like a robot and then he 'learns' from a shitty actor like Edward Furlong?
T3 was a good blend, and some of his lines were actually funny.

Not really. T2 terminator was in some ways almost a robotic father figure, a character who, even though a cyborg, seemed to build a bond with the John Conner and be in some ways likable.
T3 terminator was more like a drill sergeant, while still on the good side, he wasn't really presented as someone likable but more as someone who made sure John and Kate got to where they needed to go.
In terms of which was my favorite, T1 Termi was definately the most bad ass, but T2 Arnie had the biggest guns and the did the most impressive stuff, so I have to go with him. T3 Arnie was fine, and it was an enjoyable action romp, but it and he aren't quite up to the uber coolness of the first two films. The goofy glasses subtracts a couple points.

I liked the T3 arnold the best... I dunno, it just seemed like the movie wasn't all about him.. even though he was the star and all it seemed more like a supporting character. As a movie I liked T3 a lot too, especially the car chase with the truck, prolly one of the coolest car chases I've seen ever
But I agree he was badassiest in T1
On a side note, someone told me they originally wanted OJ Simpson as the original terminator, but did't cast him because he seemed too "nice" .. anyone know if that's true?

OJ was considered, but I doubt he ever really came close to the role.
