Why does Directv not carry the Ovation network?

It is kind of like the Trio network but Directv has enough bandwidth to carry it.

Why would I want to watch a channel about ovulation?

I never understood why they didn't carry the Style Network.

I sent them a note about Ovation a couple years ago, I saw it at a friend's house and I knew my wife and daughter would love a channel that showed all that ballet. Dunno why they haven't added that. But I see we've got a new channel on 241 today, TV1 or something, have no idea what that is.

I just hope that they are going to carry The Horror Channel when it launches.

No shit. There's probably only something going on once a month.

It's followed by quite a bit of PMS if that helps any.

meh. Public television has too many fundraisers for my tastes. I mean, $100 for a book bag?

What extra bandwidth are you talking about? All of the channels have heavy compression already to carry what they have? Do you get heir HD package? The HD channel are so compressed at times that they are no better than regular channels or pixelate. I get my locals OTA but for other people in my DMA need an additional dish pointed at 72.5 degrees for locals.

Not too rant at you but I would seriously bet that another shopping channel has a better shot at being added. Since they see it has another revenue stream from sales commissions. Sad to say. So another.

If it makes you feel any better, you're really not missing much. They've only got about 4 days worth of unique programming & just rerun it over & over & over & over again month after month. Very disappointing.
