Will I like "Metal Gear Solid: Twin Snakes" (Gamecube) if I loved "Eternal Darkness"?
I know they are wildly different games, but I am very fond of ED and loved what Silicon Knights did with it. I know this is also produced by Silicon Knights.
I don't like things like Splinter Cell or the genre, but this seems a little different and from the videos looks like a game I might get into bc of 3rd person and the full control.
First, is it easy to get into? Easy to pick up if I have never played before?
2nd, are the controls easy? with all the weapons and gadgets I don't want to get too bogged down and confused I just want to pick up and play whenever, can you do this with MGS? I could do that with ED and was very easy to get into and cycle through those weapons and magics.
Lastly, most of the reviews I have read say the replayability is nill. Is this true and there isn't too many reasons to play again and again.
I must say, though I beat ED 4 times I still wanted to keep playing even though the times really didn't differ too much picking a different ruin.
Anyway, thanks for any help and comments.

As far as I know, this is just a remake of the original PS Metal Gear Solid, with updated graphics. So, basically, if you liked that game, or you like stealth based type of games, this is for you. Silicon Knights may have done the work, but considering that the game is supposed to be a pretty faithful remake of the original MGS, I can't imagine there's really much of their style in the game.

I have never played Twin Snakes myself, but I have heard that most hardcore MGS fans do not like Twin Snakes. The reason is because it becomes like the Matrix. Snake does all these weird flips, rolls, dives, etc like Neo in the Matrix.

How about renting Twin Snakes to see if you like it first?
You just might like it. Easy controls, great atmosphere and story. Just keep in mind it is much different from Eternal Darkness .
Or get the target deal, it's a steal at that price!
