Anyone see yesterday's Best Buy ad? In the 2 for $30 GameCube Player's Choice section, there is none other than Resident Evil 4 (with a Player's Choice banner, no less). Any thoughts on how we can actually get them to honor this deal? That would be sweet!
As noonan4224 pointed out, it's the RE remake. RE4 isn't even out yet, is it?

I swear to God that my Best Buy ad shows Resident Evil 4 with a Player's Choice banner in place of RE1. I am going to go to the store and try to get a raincheck. It's not out yet, and it shouldn't be a Player's Choice title, that's what is so crazy about this. Anyone else in the Columbus, Ohio area care to back me up? I wish I had my scanner here with me....

Sorry to burst your bubbles, but the Pure Evil combo pack (containing RE:Remake and RE:zero) has an offer inside for a RE 4 DEMO not the game. Sorry guys.

If you dont already own RE:Remake and RE: zero (first slap yourself) then go buy the Pure Evil pack, but the RE 4 demo is limited to 10,000 requests, and with RE 4 only about three weeks or less away then I dont see a point in getting a demo this close to release. Not to say that you HAVE to buy RE 4 on release, and the demo may sell you on the game (it sold me) so give it a shot if youd like.

my local best buy has a sign at the counter stating the error and apologizes for the inconvience, so i doubt that they'll honor the ad.

Which is what I was referring to. I got a rain check. The girl that gave it to me knew that the game wasn't out yet but still said "Oh well, that's BB's fault not yours so I will give you a Raincheck. It's worth a try, right?"
And as for the RE4 Demo, I have had one for over 2 weeks now.....and no I haven't played it.
I'd just like to get in on the 2 for 30 deal and get away with RE4 as one of the titles :)

I'm sure if you for a mob and approach best buy with your demands they will be more likely to listen then if you go it alone.

FWIW, the ad that I picked up from the Best Buy store on 410 and San Pedro had the cover of RE4 in it.
I'm not an RE fan, so I passed.

I got a raincheck for two of them. I pointed to the pic in the ad (which I picked up as I walked into the store) and said "You probably don't have any of these, do you?" He looked in the GameCube "R" section and said "Nope. All out." I asked if there was any way to get a raincheck and he said at customer service. For some reason the raincheck didn't print out, but they said I have one, and they'd call me when the game came in. I just have no proof. We'll see what happens.

I went into Best Buy on Saturday (X-Mas Eve) and very easily and quickly received a raincheck for Resident Evil 4 for $15 after showing the Customer Service Clerk the ad. The raincheck initially printed up with $49.99 on it, but he wrote down that the ad says 2 for $30 and put his name and employee number on it. I only wish I had asked for more than 1 copy!
