Movie trailer quotes that make you NOT want to see the movie...
Line from Spanglish trailer...."Worrying about your kids is sanity, and being that sane... can drive you nuts".
I'm sorry, that line evokes anger in me. Is it the delivery? I don't know, but I just hate, hate, hate that line. It has completely turned me off from seeing the movie.
It's happened before, namely the..."Life is like a box of chocolates...." I thought it sounded so stupid. I wasn't going to see Forrest Gump. I only went because a friend begged me...is now one of my favorite movies
Also, the whole "Dog house, hen house, etc., etc.," line from The Fugitive trailer really grated my nerves. Didn't want to see the movie, went with a friend, loved it.
These trailer makers are making unwise decisions .

Harrison Ford as the President shouting: GET OFF MY PLANE! from Air Force One
Saw the flick in the theaters anyhow, and liked it for what it was (dumb popcorn action movie)

I think Tommy Lee Jones' "Dog House, Hen House, Out House, Sorority House, This Old House, Full House" speech was what made me WANT to go see The Fugitive (not that I wouldn't have seen it anyway).
I usually hate some of the taglines in the trailers more than the actualy quotes put into them. But that's a little off topic, so I'll refrain from listing a few.

While not quotes from the films themselves, I find myself avoiding anything where the trailer tells me it has a twist ending. "The biggest twist since The Sixth Sense." "You'll never see this ending coming." "A twist so shocking, you'll poop your pants." I know that forces me to miss many films, but I just don't enjoy trying to figure out a film's twist ending from the beginning, and I can't simply turn off the analytical part of my brain once I know there's something to look for. This is why I never watch episode previews for TV shows, and if I've even considered seeing a film I've heard about, I'll avoid trailers for it as much as possible.
For a specific quote, I remember initially being turned off by, "These are O.R. scrubs." "Oh, are they?" In the context of the film, it plays perfectly, but in the trailer it seemed silly.

For me, it's not so much a quote, but rather a proclamation made by the narrator of "Lemony Skicket's" trailer, in which Jim Carrey's character is described as "an unforgettable character."
I'll be the one to decide if he's an unforgettable character or not thank you very much...

Double Jeopardy: Tommy Lee Jones saying, "The prosecution rests!"
Man - That made me want to punch him in the face. I still have never seen that movie because of that line!

There is one quote in a trailer that made me bypass the movie entirely. Interestingly, the line doesn't even occur in the actual film. But I still haven't seen it:
"Now you'll have to deal with both of us."
(I'll leave it as an exercise for the reader to guess the film)
