Drawn Together Season Finale

Does no one in here watch this show? I've really grown to like it towards the end of the season. Last nights finale was great (especially for those that watch The Apprentice) and, not to give away too much for those who didn't see it, it looks like next season might have a Survivor/Lost theme.

I'd probably buy this on DVD. Wonder if they would release unedited ones.

I saw it for the first time today. Funny stuff.

I think I have who the characters are supposed to represent except for the Pig and the yellow thing.

Anyone able to shed some light on that?

The yellow thing (Wooldoor Sockbat) is supposed to be like a Spongebob Sqaurepants / Ren and Stimpy type of thing.

The pig is supposed to be some internet download thing.

I liked how Trump was dressed like Richie Rich. That was about all that I liked about the episode.

I thought it was great and the series overall is great. Maybe some of the writing is the standard cornball stuff, but maybe it's just seeing the character archetypes in the situation is what makes it funny.

And the ep where the three were licking Ling's psychotropic sweat off was brilliant.

I had hopes for this series. Unfortunately, it took the easy way out TOO often and made a sub-par, cheesy comedy.

I liked it enough to watch if they do another season. Some truly funny moments mixed in with some mediocre comedy.

That's exactly how I feel about it. Gross does not always equal funny.

It would make no sense whatsoever to bring the same characters back next year. One of the new cast members should definitely be a Transformer-type robot

It's at least normal for a British show.

Or a show that nobody really likes.

Respons-o-meter suggests these reponses:

1. Write your own show.
2. The bueaty of cable is you can allways find something you like on another channel.

I can't decide. Can you help me pick one?

Every episode had references and joke that were clever enough ... I have a feeling those who disliked it failed to realize the barrage of pop-culture references they used each week. For example, the Matrix thing with Wooldoor was hilarious.

I laughed alot during the final episode. I hope it comes back with more Ling-Ling this time.

Pop culture references DO NOT EQUAL funny! If this were a nostalgic show or they were purposefully spoofing something, it might have some merit. But as it stands, this show is cheap. All they have is gross-out jokes and references to stuff that people actually enjoy. This show is tasteless (not in a good way like South Park) and just plain stupid and unfunny.
