Universal's Dracula back in print (Non Monster Legacy)?

I recently bought Dracula directly from Amazon (not a marketplace seller) at the low low price of $8.99. Is this back in print? They still have 2 copies left.

I doubt it. Why not buy the legacy set?

Because Dracula is one of the few titles that is actually better in the original release than in the Legacy release.

To the best of my knowledge, this version is still "discontinued"... Amazon may have picked up the stock of a retailer going out of business...

Try some of these reasons:

* Someone might not want to spend over $20 for the original film.
* Sound is allegedly better on the single disc.
* It's a present for someone else.
* The original's coverart is better.

I picked up two copies to give as gifts -- pretty good deal considering there was no shipping charge.

I ordered a copy just in case. I had sold my original version for big bucks when I heard the Legacy set was coming out, but of course kind of wish I hadn't when the problems surfaced. However, I was shocked when I got a STL for the Classic Monster version and ordered it a few days ago. Mine has already shipped so I can't wait to see if this really is the Classic Monster version or an Amazon screw up.

Makes me feel better that I can have both Dracula versions while spending less than $9 for the original DVD release.
