Bourne Identity (Explosive Extended Edition) is the only one currently "in print", but you should be able to find it....

Are you talking about the original version with DTS or the newer, exploded edition sans DTS?

The original version is hard to find now. However, the exploded edition can be found easily.

Ive seen it everywhere but for some reason Amazon has it listed as a feb 2005 release (maybe due to a price drop ?? )

I can actually visualize the DVD rack at Wal*Mart, and mentally picture the location of The Bourne Identity DVDs. It's at the very bottom and to the far right on the first shelf. There's two full rows of them. They're completely full. Overfull, I think I remember one copy kind of laying off to the right like it had fallen off the shelf and someone had just set it back up there.

Seriously though, if anyone wants the DTS Bourne Identity, email me ASAP, as I have one. I watched the movie once. That's all I need.

P.S. I think the Feb 2005 release version won't have DTS?

I ran into the same situation. Best Buy and Target both advertised it this week, but I found a single widescreen copy only after visiting 5 Best Buys and several Targets.

Correct. What usually happens when a price drop is announced, dealers stop re-supplying their stock until the drop-date's pre-order date (which is 1/3/05 for this title).

There's no reason for them to continue making the "older" edition with the new one out. Looking for a used one is probably your best (only?) option at the moment.

your best bet is trying to get the original online, or at a local used DVD shop. the original was under 10 dollars used before Supremacy came out, and once it came out a store near me that once carried used DVDs hiked up the price. I am still looking to get the original version soon, since if I remember right it has the theatrical release ending, the extended version doesnt have the option of viewing the theatrical version does it?

Yes. Once you hit "Play Movie," it gives you the option of theatrical vs "Explosive."

Hmm...I'm actually glad I bought the original version then. I bought mine used at the local Family Video from their used rack.

Only if they pickup up some left-over stock in some warehouse when it goes out of business. The original release has been discontinued.

I doubt it. But as I said, there are still a few dealers at Half.com who have it new.
