Alice's Adventures in Wonderland (1972) - which release?
I've noticed there are several DVDs available of Alice's Adventures in Wonderland with Peter Sellers, Dudley Moore, Michael Crawford, et al. They're all pretty cheap, but I was hoping someone has seen them and can comment on the quality.
If not, so far I've found releases from:
Platinum Disc Corporation
Digiview Productions
Westlake Entertainment Group
BCI Eclipse Company
Any experience with these studios?

Yeah, that's in the public domain, so there's going to be dozens of releases. I've never seen it specifically, but I've found that the Platinum releases are pretty decent.
I'd either grab that, or go for the cheapest price.

The Platinum version has a "soft" picture. Haven't tried the others, but the Westlake dvd has DTS sound, which intrigues me. Also, I thought the one released in October of this year was an MCA release.
I'm curious too, as I wish to upgrade from the Platinum dvd.

I remember seeing this as a kid when it first hit theaters (actually at the Fox theater in Atlanta when it was in its notorious run-down phase). No disrespect to anyone who likes it, but in our family we disliked it so much that it became kind of a standing joke ... "that was worse than Alice in Wonderland", etc. Actually I didn't think it was that bad but eveyone else in my family hated it.
Does anyone know how this got into the public domain? The early seventies seems like a pretty recent release date for anything to be out of copyright.

not sure how it got out their. It always creeped me out as a kid. I had a friend who was looking all over this a few years ago and it was nowhere to be found...seems like a new copy comes out every week now
